      Yes they are.

      The first two are the real classics. The earliest game for innovation and strategy implementation; and the expansion is where it shines, much more polished but much more difficult too.

      The 2nd and 3rd game are good, but not true to the first two games, IMO. Look out for widescreen patches for this 2nd and 3rd game.

      I would recommend you to get the four on gog.com for better support, the older games are a bit problematic on multi core cpus and etc.

        whoops, too late, i just bought it on steam... i decided it was hard to go too wrong for $5... if i have problems with the games i guess i could just rebuy them from gog...

          No problem... If I hadn't them already on GOG, of course I would get a $5 deal as you did... they were selling the four for $8 weeks ago on gog.
