Konami has released a ton of screenshots along with a new trailer for Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, the upcoming PSP-exclusive sequel from Hideo Kojima.

The trailer reveals the character list along with the English voice actors lending his or her voice to each player. There's a character named Dr. Strangelove and one named Huey, voiced by Christopher Randolph, who provides the English voice for Otacon in Metal Gear Solid, Metal Gear Solid 2, and Metal Gear Solid 4. It's madness!

Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker is a main entry in the franchise, continuing the story of Big Boss after the events of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater and Portable Ops. It will be available in the US on June 8 along with two bundles that include PSP-3000 systems.

Yes... I don't get it either. First he says the 360 is too pitiful and weak to handle his big ass game (yeah, I know.. not those exact words) then he goes ahead and puts his next major title on a freaking handheld with the wannabe power of a PS2. WTF?

For whatever reason Kojima just hates Microsoft. Probably something to do with how they treated them during his Metal Gear days on the MSX. MGR is only coming out for 360 because Konami calls the shots at the end of the day.

Because it's designed as a handheld game?
