ESRB Rates PS1's Star Wars: Dark Forces for Re-Release

Joystiq spotted a re-rating of the PlayStation game Star Wars: Dark Forces for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Portable by the ESRB, meaning that the shooter should be queued up for a digital PSone Classics re-release at some point.

The PlayStation version, which is a port of the original PC and Mac release, was criticized for having a low framerate and poor graphics for the time.

I would expect these complaints to hold for the re-release as these tend to be straight ports, getting no additional development or improvement.

Either way, Star Wars: Dark Forces should be hitting your PlayStation 3 and/or PSP via the PlayStation Network sometime soon.
