Darksiders Coming to PC in June

9
Released on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in January 2010, Vigil Games' tale of the apocalyptic horseman that came too soon is now headed to PC in June 2010.

"Darksiders is on its way to a PC near you...in June," Haydn Dalton, lead designer on the action-adventure, revealed via Twitter. "Buckle up for the apocalypse biatches."

While Dalton's revelation was short on details, Vigil co-founder David Adams told Rock Paper Shotgun that "we are working really hard to make sure that key features such as user-defined resolutions, interface and both keyboard and game pad control sets are all up to the standards for today's discerning PC consumer."

A sequel is already in the works--in fact, it was planned well before Darksiders made its retail debut--and expected to release between April 1, 2011 and March 31, 2012.

    This is awesome news!

I held off playing this game on console for some reason and I know why!

PC gaming is not dead yet!

It won't be dead either. PC gaming is happily "dying" since 1985.

Agreed! Played the demo on PS3 but held off for some reason, now I know why! This is definitely getting a "buy it for PC" from me.

I'm a longtime fan of Joe Mad but I don't own a console. I'm SO glad this will make a PC release and will be purchasing it as soon as I am able.
