PC gamers will soon be able to turn their MP3 collection into an arena shooter when indie developer Cold Beam Games's "eye bleeding" rhythm shooter Beat Hazard comes to Steam.

"Each of your songs will have its own unique ebb and flow based on the music," Cold Beam explains--somewhat similar to Dylan Fitterer's fine Audiosurf. Beat Hazard also boasts online leader boards and achievements.

Beat Hazard was first released on Xbox Live Indie Games last year for 400 Microsoft Points ($5). The PC edition is due out in April at an unknown price.
