Resonance of Fate Release Date Announced

4

The next action-RPG from Star Ocean and Valkyrie Profile developer tri-Ace, Resonance of Fate will hit North America on March 16--that's the week after role-playing powerhouse Final Fantasy XIII hits PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360--publisher SEGA has confirmed.

Both the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions will launch simultaneously, with SEGA promising more details on the "John Woo'esque RPG in the weeks leading to launch."

This came out of nowhere. Is this the first time anybody's heard of this game?

I posted about it after playing the PS3 demo. It makes you feel like a badass, which is pretty unique for an RPG.

I remember watching a demo of the game. I don't think you can even shoot without jumping in the air. In action it looks stupid.

I've had an eye on it for over a year now. It looks very unique and has a lot of character customization to it. It had been scheduled for a March 9th release until now, but I'm still worried it may get lost in the flood of FFXIII.

Been watching it a while since I really like a few of tri-Ace's games. This one looks much more promising than their previous games.
