Weekend Discussion: Huuugs

Before you do anything else today, go find someone you love, like or appreciate and let them know with a hug. What better way to start the weekend than with huuugs?

Oh, speaking of the weekend, Blucklesworth asked me to point out that TSL will begin broadcasting its StarCraft: Brood War tournament during this one. Kekekekekeke?

Dito. They are avail for me. Maybe he rents a lot of movies? I tend to be very very slow with mine. I know that Netflix kinda gives slower people priority but that seems ridiculous to have so many not ready to be mailed.

I guess the only way to get good service is to not watch very much... check mine out:

Which is why Netflix's throttling policy is stupid. Guys like you shouldn't have to wait, Netflix should know they'll be getting their disc back quickly.

They dont want that. They make money on people like me who have had the same 3 discs for 2 years.

And when I went to report them lost they were going to charge me full price for them lol. Most expensive movies ever.

Oh, I get that, but do they spend more money shipping out discs to fast watchers than they lose from fast watchers saying 'fuck this throttling" and unsubbing?

Same here. I thought it was due to the holidays, but I'm pretty annoyed that they are having such horrid times. We called and they gave us our top two in the queue right away, but things have been just as bad in the last two weeks.

no, the proper question is: Do you rent a fuckton of movie each month?

All of those blu-ray titles are "available" for me on my account because I'm not considered a "heavy" or "excessive" user by netflix so my account isn't throttled.

just add them a couple at a time or when you really want a specific new release. The whole point of this second profile is to not get it throttled.

no, netflix lets you keep multiple profiles under a single paid account. From the main account you select how many discs each profile gets. For example, my gf and I share a 3-at-a-time plan. She has her profile which gets 2 of the discs and I have mine which gets 1 of the discs. This allows us to each have separate ratings and suggestions. The only real downside to this is that only the main profile has access to the streaming.

I do 3 movies at a time, blu ray , and I have movies coming on and out daily. I've only ran into a slight snag with The Hurt Locker. I rememeber shit like this with Gamefly when I was a subscriber, but never with Netflix. Knock on wood

Best movie ever... PSH. Flip your hyperbole switch off like a big boy.

It's well-photographed and lit, and the atmosphere is cool, but that's about it. It's dumb, and incredibly cliche.

Decided to buck up and finally start working on ME2 last night. 13 hours in and I think I like ME1 better. ME1 was about a 50/50 split of rpg / action game, ME2 changes that to maybe 40/60. Plus the quests aren't as fun and I hate the level layouts. Still good though and I'm sure I'll finish up within the next day or two.
