Call of Duty: World at War PC v1.7 Patch Released

12

A new update for Call of Duty: World at War PC is now available on FileShack, bringing Treyarch's World War II shooter up to v1.7 through a 16.48MB download.

To receive the handful of multiplayer fixes contained in the patch, players must have already installed the v1.6 patch. The v1.7 dedicated server package is also available, as is a German version of the update. The changelog follows:

  • Fixed an MP server crash exploit.

  • Fixed a voice chat crash on systems with no default recording device selected.

  • Fixed an issue causing erroneous duplicate qport errors.

  • Server admins can disable team switching by setting g_allow_teamchange to 0. Players will be restricted to Auto-Assign in team-based gametypes.
  • Chris Faylor was previously a games journalist creating content at Shacknews.

MW2 has been patched 3 times since it's been out, but there are no web posted updates to find out just what has been patched. At least Treyarch are still supporting their product over a year later.
