      The very first episodes of Ghost Hunters, on SciFi, were almost like a documentary. They gave a fair amount of time to what the guys did when they weren't spending the night at some allegedly haunted location. They really struggled with their plumbing jobs and maintaining marital stability to afford being able to do this paranormal investigation stuff; I found that really interesting.
