Evening Reading

Played a bit of Overlord II last night. Not that into it yet, but I'll give it some more time before I give up.

Deadliest Catch is a documentary, not a reality show, right? Because I refuse to watch reality shows.

It's more of an interesting mix of both. It just shows what happens on 4-5 crab fishing vessels in the Bering sea, it's insanely suicidal and dangerous. Plus, it's narrated by Mike Rowe which makes it automatically 100x better.

Yeah. I mean "reality" tv is supposed to be something like a documentary, but no "reality" shows really are. This one though, it's real. It feels like a documentary, watches like one, etc. It's a great show and you should watch some episodes/

The very first episodes of Ghost Hunters, on SciFi, were almost like a documentary. They gave a fair amount of time to what the guys did when they weren't spending the night at some allegedly haunted location. They really struggled with their plumbing jobs and maintaining marital stability to afford being able to do this paranormal investigation stuff; I found that really interesting.
