MAG Dev Diary: 'We're Doin' It at 30 Frames'

The next developer diary for MAG, Zipper's Massive Action Game that supports up to 256 players online, provides a pretty general overview of the experience.

While the PlayStation 3-exclusive title is not quite the first FPS to feature unscripted helicopter and building explosions, as the developers claim, it will certainly be the first to do it with 256 players. And that's certainly a lot of players.

MAG will arrive on the PS3 sometime this fall.

Wow, this might actually make me buy a PS3 if its as awesome as it is in my mind.

  Not me, even though it sounds cool. Console FPS = crap controls and usually a clunky feel. :(

  256 players sounds cool, in concept. Well just have to wait and see how it actually works out. I wouldnt hold my breath. Wanna try it out though regardless
