The character animation seems super-smooth. That was the one thing that really jumped out at me.

Oh, and if a plane is falling you would essentially be weightless. So, wtf?

I know! It's what stood out the most for me too. I can't believe how good the character animations are in this game. It doesn't really show in this video, but in other videos when the character runs from cover to cover it looks so unbelievably awesome!!

the animations do look great, it really adds to games when you get smoother, more realistic movement like that

You're talking about a game that can curve bullets so physics went out the window a long time ago.

in the demo the doors are off on the side of the plane and you can walk by like nothings happening

while the animations look smooth they're canned and there's something weird about the feel of moving around. I don't know if it's the speed of the animations, the design of the environments...? I was trying to imagine what makes Uncharted feel better to play and one thought that came to mind is that the environment in the Wanted demo is like a simple grid. There's more emphasis on moving, finding cover suited to the direction the enemies are located in Uncharted/Gears. There are many other little things I guess like the reaction of enemies to bullets, more dynamic behaviors, etc

don't get me wrong it seemed passable, much better than that Bourne game out a while ago

Its a game where you CURVE bullets and other bullshit. Do you really expect they give a damn now?
