inFamous Screenshots Get Trashy

Developer Sucker Punch presents these new screenshots from the upcoming open world title inFamous. This one stars Cole McGrath, a bike messenger that is suddenly imbued with the powers of electricity, which he then uses to fight a dude made of trash. Ah, videogames.

inFamous is set for release on PlayStation 3 later this year.

I'm still on the fence with this game. I really hope it's a solid game, Sucker Punch hasn't sucked yet.

    Yeah, it just looks... bland. Bald dude shoots electricity balls. Even a free roaming city won't make that fun, I just don't get what the hook is meant to be here. And they definitely did fun games on the PS2 so what happened? Maybe it will surprise, but very few games have turned me completely around from this stage.

      True, after seeing games like Killzone 2, God of War 3, Uncharted 2, Street Fighter 4, Resident Evil 5 announced, this looks bland. Maybe it'll be a surprise.

      Even the animations look boring, and the Sly series was one of the most beautifully animated games. I just loved playing those.
