The latest entry in the Fun Labs-developed line of Rapala-branded fishing video games will arrive on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii this summer, publisher Activision revealed today.

Titled Rapala Fishing Frenzy, the game includes fishing tournaments, 25 different species of fish, and licensed Rapala lures. The PS3 and X360 editions will feature traditional controls, while the Wii version will utilize the motion-sensitive Wii Remote.

"This is the most exciting, progressive fishing game ever made and every angler's dream," the company boasted.

"A proper fishing game needs to capture the adrenaline-pumping intensity of sport fishing," added Fun Labs representative Adrian Filippini. "Rapala's involvement has resulted in a game with a new level of realistic fishing fun."

Depends on the type fishing your are doing. You get on a good reef and with a nice chum slick going you can be knee deep in yellowtail in two hours :D

Very little is more exciting than hooking up on a mahi mahi though. Maybe wahoo or cobia, but I've never had the fortune of getting either one.

I kinda like fly fishing. Being out in the middle or a rather fast moving river trying not to slip and float away while constantly working at dropping the fly just where you want it and occasionally working a fish >> sitting on a dock for sure. Haven't tried the reef thing though.
