Def Leppard Talks Guitar Hero 4 Songs

13
It appears that British metal group Def Leppard may have up to three songs in the upcoming music-rhythm title Guitar Hero IV.

"We're going to have, like, three songs, I think, on Guitar Hero IV," guitarist Phil Collen said on Rockline Radio. "I think Photograph, Animal, and Rock of Ages."

While Guitar Hero IV has yet to be officially announced, franchise owner Activision previously confirmed it is a prepping a new Guitar Hero title for this fall, with Guitar Hero: Aerosmith (PS2, PS3, X360, Wii) and Guitar Hero: On Tour (NDS) due this summer.

Actually DefLep were considered metal until Steve Clark died and the drummer lost his arm.

a lot of bands were considered metal back then... but when you had a band like Venom around in those days, it's not right to call this metal. glam rock is more appropriate.
i hate when shows on VH1 are like "most insane metal moments!" and it's all about shit bands like this and aerosmith. fuck you guys.

"Metal" changes with each decade or five years. Some people say that Led Zep are a Heavy Metal band. It's all a matter of opinion anymore.

apparently the "metal" channel on my cable network thinks metal is just tuned down thrash metal with constant growl vocals. This was always my least favorite type of metal, and for whatever reason its the type getting most airplay now :(

I thought that was the only type of metal still around these days.
