Nearly one year ago, I made mention in Late Night Consoling (RIP) of an indie RPG enticingly entitled Barkley Shut Up and Jam: Gaiden, then announced as the first chapter in the Hoopz Barkley SaGa.

We're hoping to get it up on FileShack soon, if we can get permission, but for now you can check out the game's official announcement and download from a few mirrors. Just check out these scintillating bullet points:

  • Incredible B.A.B.B.Y. System gives complete control over your combat actions.

  • Easter eggs galore in BSU&J:G!

  • One of the first games to fully utilize DirectX 10 (comparison: DX9, DX10)

  • Game fully playable in both English and Al Bhed.

  • Riveting story: see the Post-Cyberpocalypse like you've never seen it before.

  • Soundtrack composed by Nobuo Uematsu exclusively for BSU&J:G!

  • Block paragraphs about basketball monsters.
