Ok so is HL2:EP2/Portals/TF2 all going to be DX10??? or is there just some special sauce going on that DX10 cards will benefit from

  Isnt it enough to install DX10 on your computer and then it works, even if a little slower?

  "Special sauce" as you put it. They're obviously not going to be DX10-only, as that requires Vista and requires an 8800-series card. Not a huge market at the moment.
