For those of you into trying before buying, 2K Games has released a Sid Meier's Railroads! demo. The 266mb download offers a tutorial and one small-sized map.

Seriously though, try the demo. Maybe they are just aiming it at people other than RRT fans.

  that's what i was going to say, they all seem to be even in the retail game. Almost ruins it.

  Bizarrely, the game feels built for multi. I've played a bunch of multi with friends, and its a lot of fun. Doesn't take long to finish, cutthroat, and funny.

    multiplayer lan is definitely a fun time with this game.
