I'm trying to decide if Dead Rising is worth the purchase or if I should just rent it. I liked criminal origins, but thankfully I only rented it cause I got tired of it.

  i'd rent it but my jaded gamer buddy loves it so it has to be good. Last game he loved was god of war. And this dude is extremly jaded. So the save system can't be that bad, heh.

  If you're on the fence, rent it first. I love it (and so does everyone I've shown it to), but it's definitely not for everyone.
