There is but it's not really representative of how the full version will be. I was in a short-lived closed beta when it was being published by Atari and the few levels we tested were much better than what was in the demo. Supposedly the new publisher is allowing even more time for it to be tweaked. They've also changed a lot of the story to have a more serious tone to it from what I've read.
What I'm REALLY curious about is the multiplayer.
