CS: Source Beta Update

Another Counter-Strike: Source beta update has been released, with the Steam website offering a list of changes & additions. The DX7 code path has been updated, increasing performance by up to 225%, the reload exploit is fixed and there is now a intermission scoreboard at end of round among other things.

    As someone with a middle aged machine, it's nice to see devs still working legacy support. After I get over the glitz and glammor of all the fancy schmancy effects of the new source engine, which will be a must for SP, it's nice to know that I can drop the settings back to where they were for CS one and get blazing framerate.

      actually the lowest you can drop it is still several generations ahead of HL1 (HL1 != DX7)... O_o
