The battle for freedom rages on Earth and on Mars.
    Gee, does that sound familiar?
The high-impact single-player game, crammed full of cut-scenes and scripted set pieces...
Last thing I wanted in an FPS game: to be stuck watching half of the game with no say on the outcome. If I wanted cutscenes and scripted stuff, I'd rent Die Hard or some other action movie.
    Fast-firing though inaccurate Ingrams...
They weren't so inaccurate in the SP demo; for much of the second level I was using the Ingram on semiauto instead of the Sig pistol.

As for the rest of this "preview", not much on gameplay and how Chaser compares to other burnouts like SoF2, Unreal 2, etc., or even previous classics like Half-Life. Looks like we won't know until some gamers take a risk with their $50.

i dunno, i kinda liked it. i agree the idea of being crammed full of cutscenes doesnt appeal to me, and the demo cutscenes were meh, but they werent overly long.

my main gripe was the fact that the enemies looked like target range dummies, and it also contains my major pet peeve, lots of locked doors. level designers should not be given a flat door texture to work with at all, it should only be available as part of a door pre-fab or whatever its called. a door should always be able to open. NOLF was the worst for this, and it really took away from some of the game.

I liked how you could get inside every rock in the demo level ;)
