First Post!

DVD-ROM problem that I mentioned yesterday was fixed. How? Yeah..a reboot :) Still strange though, last month I had a problem with the drive where I had to uninstall and reinstall it because it wouldn't let me explore the CD in Windows. So something is wrong, but so far these problems have been able to fix. And to get to other computer fun...

NVidia's latest official drivers (40.72) FINALLY let me upgrade without Windows XP bitching. I had been stuck on 28.xx for months because every time I tried upgrading, Windows would say I had an unidentified videocard after rebooting and I had to do a driver rollback. But no more. Didn't notice a whole lot of difference in most games, except Unreal Tournament 2003. Suddenly the 'feel' of that game is much better. Was up pretty late deathmatching and checking out all the maps in the full version, hence the later than usual update today.

Movie: Truth is appearance, but appearance isn't always truth.

    Funniest+Cutest thing EVAR!!!

The last few days, whenever my daughter (2 yrs old) answers the phone, and it's her mother, she says 'IT'S YOU!'

First time I heard this, I about died laughing.

I had to follow up with the obligatory 'How are you, gentlemen?'

Instead of "uh-uh" and "uh-huh" arguments, your kids can have "no u" "no u" arguments. Groovy.
