A story has been floating around that we've gotten quite a bit of email on. A publication at CVG that id Software has grabbed up some floor space at E3 this year. I poked around some yesterday and was able to confirm with an E3 organizer that indeed the id guys are going to have some floor space this year. However, as can be seen here they have a spot in the South Hall, but that spot # is being shared with Activision. Todd at id Software of course doesnt really comment on this kind of stuff, since the speculation was that id would possibly surprise some people and show off DOOM. Currently there is no known publisher for DOOM, and the PRs we've gotten in the past about DOOM have been from an independent PR studio. The floor space is shared with Activision, so well... draw your own conclusions. We'll know in 6 weeks, think Activision grabbed up the DOOM? update: NeoZero posted a link to this E3 brochure cover, which plainly states "Tim Willits: (Showing DOOM)" at a developer forum during E3. Although not directly related since it's not on the show floor, it points in the same direction.
