Welcome to Shacknews 2023. We’re back and the news is flowing. CES 2023 is underway, Twitter’s still a mess, and an exciting year of games is on the way. It’s the end of the week, so it’s time for 2023’s first Shacknews Dump to unload all of the hottest news you may have missed this week!

On this January 6 edition of the Shacknews Dump, we’re diving headfirst into a few ongoing topics from last year and some fresh topics and details to go with them this year. Twitter is still holding together, even if it’s as shaky as can be, but Musk’s rush to can employees may have cost more than he bargained for. Meanwhile, CES 2023 had some delightful things to show, including Sony coming in with new details on the PSVR2, a new accessibility-focused controller, and a collaborative EV with Honda.
