Festival of the Lost has kicked off in Destiny 2 and Guardians across the galaxy started to get their hands on Jurassic Green, a Legendary Pulse Rifle. Since Jurassic Green figures to be the new hotness over the next couple of weeks, I wanted to take some time to outline what a god roll would look like. This will include both PvP and PvE.
Jurassic Green is a rapid-fire frame Legendary Pulse Rifle. It fires 540 rounds per minute and has a default Magazine size of 35. For a comparison, the Darkest Before Legendary Pulse Rifle that folks are raving about for Crucible is also 540 rounds per minute. If you can’t land a Darkest Before god roll for PvP, Jurassic Green isn’t a bad replacement.
The god roll for Jurassic Green in PvP is going to feature perks that help its range and tighten up its recoil direction. You see, Jurassic Green has a base Recoil stat of 50, which causes it to bounce to the left slightly when you’re firing it. If we find one with Arrowhead Brake, that will pull it to 80, making it vertical with a slight right lean.

With Arrowhead Brake covered, the next thing to consider is the magazine type. Armor-Piercing Rounds will boost the range a small amount while also piercing through a foe's shields. Rangefinder is the easy choice for the third column as aiming the weapon will increase both its zoom and range. As for the fourth column, there aren't a great deal of options that strike me as a PVP must-have. However, Frenzy does well to give a damage boost and some stat boosts. Failing this, Multikill Clip is nothing to sneeze at.
With a range Masterwork, you'll be able to push out Jurassic Green's deadliness, giving you perhaps a chance at dueling or distracting a sniper that's set up shop in a lane. Slap on whatever mod pleases you, but Radar Tuner will help keep those eyes in the back of your head open.
The god roll for Jurassic Green in PvE is less about the first two columns correcting its shortcomings and more about the final two columns really making the weapon pop. For the Masterwork, stability will make this thing laser-focused while Arrowhead Brake will manage the recoil enough that we can look into other mod options.

Instead of Armor-Piercing Rounds, throw on Ricochet Rounds for the added stability and range. Sure, High-Caliber Rounds give you some knockback, but two stat boosts is better.
As of its reintroduction with Festival of the Lost 2022, Jurassic Green now comes with some incredibly appealing perks for PVE. Firstly, Subsistence remains a top dog when it comes to never reloading. There is really no better choice in this column. For the final column, this is where things get wild. There are four standouts: Multikill Clip, Incandescent, Golden Tricorn, and Adrenaline Junkie. Get any one of these and you'll be laughing.
However, I struggle to look past the effectiveness of Golden Tricorn. When you maximise this perk's capabilities, Jurassic Green will be dealing 50 percent more damage. The only drawback is that it can be tricky to activate. If it's too involved, Multikill Clip is easier to proc but doesn't last as long. More concerned about wave clear? Go for Incandescent.
