Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity Expansion Pass Wave 1 release date revealed

Published , by Ozzie Mejia

Tuesday's Nintendo E3 Direct looked to wrap up with The Legend of Zelda. No, not that one. It's not Breath of the Wild 2. No, instead it's the Expansion Pass for Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, a first look at its gameplay, and what's coming.

Wave 1 of the Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity Expansion Pass is called Pulse of the Ancients and will add the playable Battle-Tested Guardian, for anybody looking to blow enemies away in style. For existing characters, Link can pick up the new Flail weapon type and Zelda can ride around on the Master Cycle.

That's not all that's coming with the Expansion Pass. Wave 2: Guardian of Remembrance will release before the end of November and will add new character vignettes, new stages, an even bigger roster, and new battle skills for the existing characters. More information on this piece of the Expansion Pass is expected at a later date.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity's Expansion Pass will kick off with Wave 1 on Friday, June 18. Both pieces of the Expansion Pass can be purchased for $19.99 USD. More information on the expansions can be found on the Legend of Zelda website.
