It’s an exciting day to be a Nintendo fan as the Big N took to E3 to announce a slew of video games coming to its iconic Nintendo Switch console. Of those announcements was Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, Square Enix’s next superhero title. If you haven't already, take a gander at the official trailer for the game, where players take on the role of Star-Lord.

Announced during the Nintendo Direct at E3 2021 on June 15, Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy is officially coming to Switch. Players already knew of the game’s existence thanks to previous streams, such as Square Enix’s own showcase, but there was no word yet about it coming to the handheld-console hybrid.

Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy has a release date of October 26 for the Nintendo Switch. This matches the release date for the other platforms. Make sure you stop by the Nintendo Direct E3 2021 page for more information on everything announced today, and then check out the E3 2021 topic for our comprehensive coverage of the entire event.
