Two Point Campus gameplay shown at E3 2021

The Future Games Show capped off day two of E3 with even more looks at upcoming video games from across the industry. This included another look at Two Point Campus, the next game from the creators of Two Point Hospital. It was during this segment that we got our first look at gameplay in Two Point Campus.

The Two Point Campus segment during the Future Games Show showed us more of the hijinx that players will get into in the wacky university simulator. Developers from Two Point Games appeared to talk about the internal discussions that led to the creation of Two Point Campus. “When we were thinking about what we were going to do next, campus and the idea of running a university or a college was something we just kept coming back to” said Mark Webley, Game Director on Two Point Campus.

Although we’ve already seen trailers for Two Point Campus, this segment gave us a look at actual gameplay in the simulator. We see the “Smart Brush,” which will allow players to craft and place pathways around their campus. Since players begin with an empty plot of land, the tools available will allow players to create a sprawling college campus. The developer likens it to what’s done in the city-building genre.

There’s a variety of different courses that players can have taught at their school, including the punny “Knight School.” The different classes will offer more of the silly scenarios that the Two Point games are becoming known for.

Two Point Campus is currently set to launch in 2022. For more on the Future Games Show and all of the announcements at E3 2021, stick with Shacknews.
