Sonic Colors: Ultimate gets Tropical Resort stage reveal during Future Games Show 2021

The Future Games Show at E3 2021 unveiled the Tropical Resort stage today for the upcoming remaster Sonic Colors: Ultimate. The newly remastered Sonic Colors is scheduled for release on September 7, 2021 for Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One, and PC. We have the trailer queued up below, please take a look.

Sonic Colors was a standout title when it was released in 2010 because it was a 3D game that finally broke the slump felt by the long-running Sonic the Hedgehog series. The former Wii-exclusive garnered enough positive reception and sales numbers to warrant a remaster with Sonic Colors: Ultimate set to bring the adventure through the evil Dr. Eggman's interstellar amusement park to modern platforms. Today during the Future Games Show at E3 2021, Sonic fans got to race through a trailer of the Tropical Resort stage in all its Ultimate glory.

The new look at Sonic Colors: Ultimate's Tropical Resort starts off with some killer surf-rock and a welcome to the resort. From there, Sonic rockets off while a voice over the park's PA system announces an unfortunate car being broken into, perhaps Robotnik should invest in better security for his Tropical Resort. As Sonic continues through the level, the 'Colors' really pop both in-game, and in-person with the vibrant and faithful remastered artwork.

Sonic Colors: Ultimate boosts into homes on September 7 on Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One, and PC. We have more news from the Future Games Show at E3 2021 so don't you dare check anywhere but Shacknews.
