Ubisoft wants to pay the big bad bossmen from the Far Cry franchise some tribute with the Season Pass planned for Far Cry 6 post-launch DLC. Become the Villain, shown at Ubisoft Forward E3 2021, features dream sequences where the player takes control of some of the meanest and most memorable villains from Far Cry's past. Also included is the excellent vaporwave throwback stand-alone shooter, Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon.
Far Cry 6 may be a few months away but Ubisoft is already spilling the details for the first Season Pass that's coming to the highly-anticipated open-world shooter. The first post-launch DLC plans were unveiled today at Ubisoft Forward E3 2021 via a Season Pass trailer. This post-release content will feature a chance for players to take the role of some of Far Cry's infamous main antagonists.
The planned first DLC to make its way into Far Cry 6's Season Pass is titled, Become the Villain, and will see a trio of returning baddies from the past. Vaas Montenegro from Far Cry 3, Pagan Min from Far Cry 4, and Joseph Seed of Far Cry 5 all make their return as playable characters in one of Far Cry's trademark dream sequences. The trailer opens with first-person re-introductions to Vaas and The Father before revealing all three villains with cuts of their respective gameplay.
The trailer warns ominously that 'the mind is a dangerous place' before concluding with some bonus news. Included in the Far Cry 6 Season Pass is the critically acclaimed stand-alone expansion Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon in all it's radical '80s glory. Far Cry 6 is set to release on Google Stadia, Amazon Luna, PC, PS4/PS5, and Xbox One/Series consoles.
