It’s a good time to be a Nintendo Switch player and a fan of the Monster Hunter series, because Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin is looking pretty good. Geoff Keighley’s Summer Game Fest 2021 featured all kinds of hot items, and chief among them was a new trailer for Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin. The trailer for Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin shows off a few story beats and various monsters players can likely anticipate hunting next month. Most importantly, it also shows off the Deluxe Edition of the game. Players who pick up this version will receive the base game, an outfit for Ena, layered armor of the Razewing (both the Alpha and Beta version), sticker sets, spiky Nergal hair, as well as some outfits for Navirou.
Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin is scheduled to release on July 9, 2021 on Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam.
