Last week we debuted a brand new show on Shacknews’ Twitch channel. Titled “Pop! Goes the Culture!”, this show is a bit of a change of pace from what you usually see in Shacknews’ programming. Branching out from the world of gaming, we chat about the most interesting stories in the world of movies, TV, collectibles, and more. Hosted by Contributing Editor Donovan Erskine and Video Editor Greg Burke, episode two is coming in hot to discuss the latest and greatest in popular culture. We’d love for you to join us!

Donovan is a young journalist from Maryland, who likes to game. His oldest gaming memory is playing Pajama Sam on his mom's desktop during weekends. Pokémon Emerald, Halo 2, and the original Star Wars Battlefront 2 were some of the most influential titles in awakening his love for video games. After interning for Shacknews throughout college, Donovan graduated from Bowie State University in 2020 with a major in broadcast journalism and joined the team full-time.
