New Google Pixel Buds will arrive in 2020

At the Made by Google 2019 presentation today, Google announced that the new Pixel Buds would be hitting the market in 2020. The new Pixel Buds boast several notable features that interested consumers will want to study up on.

In the Pixel Buds, Google aims to give users access to their phones even when it’s not in their hands via the Google Assistant. This will allow users to take calls, perform searches, send texts, resume podcasts and music, all while their hands are free from carrying their phone.

To make a hands-free experience that truly means something, Google has been working on the range that the Pixel Buds will stay connected to a phone. Indoors, users can expect the Pixel Buds to maintain a connection up to three rooms away, while a connection can be maintained outside up to the length of an entire football field.

Of course, range isn’t everything if you can’t maintain a charge. Google also claims that the Pixel Buds will hold a charge for five hours of continuous listening, and 24 hours if users are connected to a wireless charging case.

The new Pixel Buds won’t be available until sometime in 2020, but the price was revealed to be $179 USD. Interested parties can visit the Pixel Buds product page on the Google Store to keep tabs on the Pixel Buds in the lead up to their release.
