Fortnite: Chapter 2 may have just leaked via Italian App Store

What could Chapter 2 of the popular battle royale entail?

Fortnite's upcoming The End event this weekend could very well be exactly what the name implies: the end of Chapter 1 and the beginning of Chapter 2.

This weekend, a livestream that's set to end the current Fortnite season is set to debut. A new leak indicates that the next wave of content will likely be referred to as Chapter 2. As far as what Chapter 2 means, that's anyone's guess. It could mean that Fortnite is finally ready to leave Early Access, or that a whole host of changes are coming. From the look of what this leak suggests, we're thinking a ton of changes are on their way.

The purported leak in question.
The purported leak in question.

The leak first appeared by way of Fortnite Insider, and appears that it confirms rumors that had previously been floating around about a new map, even the addition of boats to the game. With all this would likely come a new storyline as well, if you've been keeping up with that kind of thing. The image was found on the Italian App Store, hence the Italian writing, of course. That image is currently all we have to go on in terms of whether there's something new coming, though. Knowing Fortnite the answer is that we can be sure something is brewing.

We'll have to wait until Sunday to find out if any of this is actually real or accurate, however. Fortnite Season 10's The End event is set to take place on Sunday, October 13 at 2 PM ET. There's an in-game timer right now counting down to the event that can be found by the Rocket at Dusty Depot, constantly ticking away until the event. There's also some type of siren going off about every minute that's getting players hyped.

In any case, we'll be sure to let you know what the deal is. What do you think will happen? Let us know in the comments below.
