Rocket League October Update zooms to players next week
It's beginning to look a lot like Halloween in Rocket League as of the October Update.
It's time for spooky season in Rocket League, as of the game's latest October Update.
Starting on October 14, players can access the October Update in Rocket League on all platforms at 10 AM PDT. It will prepare all the upcoming decorations needed for the in-game Halloween party (aww yeah!) as well as sprinkle in some quality-of-life features. Psyonix took to the official Rocket League blog to clarify what's on the way.
First off, Haunted Hallows will be making their return this season. This will be the third installment of the Halloween celebration, and it will begin as soon as the update goes live. Psyonix has stated fans should stay tuned for more information later this week.
Additional features include the new option to party up after. a game, a new team-colored boost meter to go along with your other customization items, a quickly button, news panel refresh, and new esports teams being added to the Espors Shop rotation: Complexity and Spacestation Gaming. Both teams' new items will be in the Esports Shop after the update is complete.
As far as what kind of Halloween treats will be coming to the game, Psyonix is remaining mum on the topic until later this week. You can bet we'll be getting back to you with more information when it finally surfaces, though. We're getting closer and closer to All Hallow's Eve, and games are going to be putting their scariest faces on.
