Hideo Kojima and the team at Kojima Productions have been steadily dropping more information about Death Stranding over the past few months. Today, the studio just revealed The Drop Promotional Trailer. Please take a look.

Kojima Productions has been very busy as the game recently went gold.Today's trailer features dialogue from main character Sam Porter Bridges, played by Norman Reedus. "It ain't as simple as it seems. They'll try and stop you every step of the way. But you gotta keep moving. No matter what. They've torn us apart, fractured our society, and the only way to save it is in my hands. My name is Sam Porter Bridges. It's my job to reconnect us."

Don't get too excited by the graphics in The Drop trailer. This is not Death Stranding gameplay footage.

Some of you may have noticed that this trailer does not feature actual gameplay of Death Stranding. This is important to note, but Hideo Kojima did provide detailed looks at Death Stranding gameplay during several TGS 2019 live streams. We have the footage right here, in case you missed it.

Death Stranding will release exclusively on PlayStation 4 on November 8, 2019. It doesn't appear that the game will ever release on PC. Death Stranding runs on the Decima Engine that powered Horizon: Zero Dawn, so players can expect stunning visuals when the game launches next month. Head over to the official Death Stranding PlayStation Store page to pre-order the game.

In case you missed it, the Shacknews Staff took a crack at guessing what the heck Death Stranding is about in a Shack Chat feature. I think my theory is pretty close. Are you going to pick up Death Stranding at launch? Do you want to wait and see what the game is actually like? Keep it locked on Shacknews leading up to the game's launch.
