One of the biggest announcements to come out of today’s Oculus Connect 6 keynote presentation is that Episode 2 of the popular Star Wars VR game Vader Immortal is out right now on the Oculus Home store. The game was shown off to the crowd with an all-new trailer following a celebration of the success of the first episode.

The development team at ILMxLab took to the Oculus Blog to explain what player s can expect coming from Episode 1:

In Episode I, players explored the volcanic world of Mustafar, found their own lightsaber, and learned about Vader’s secret plans before joining him as his new apprentice. At the start of Episode II, the Dark Lord himself will show players how to use the Force, teaching them how to manipulate objects and enhance their lightsaber techniques. Players will need all the help they can get as they descend into the ancient fortress beneath Vader’s castle and encounter new enemies, like the terrifying Darkghast, as well as powerful artifacts, like the mysterious Protosaber. Along the way, fans will solve intricate puzzles and discover even more of Mustafar’s untold history. Outside the main story, players can hop into Lightsaber Dojo II, a new version of the combat arena from Episode I. Here, players will hone their lightsaber skills and newfound Force powers against a menagerie of enemies and traps. Where the first Dojo focused solely on lightsaber combat, Dojo II will see players use the Force to manipulate objects—like rocks, debris, and even their lightsabers, using a suite of new and intuitive gestures. And yes, Jedi-in-training will even learn to pick up and hurl their enemies, just like in the movies. Like before, players will need to advance through multiple stages of Dojo II to earn the best rewards.
