Everspace 2 Kickstarter demo version debuts in early October

Published , by Brittany Vincent

Rockfish Games' Everspace 2 is headed to Kickstarter this October, bringing with it a demo for players to get their hands on it.

The Everspace 2 campaign is launching October 2 with early access currently planned for the end of 2020. That means the full version of the game for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC will debut in the second half of 2021. For now though, Kickstarter backers will be able to look forward to a demo that will debut alongside the Kickstarter campaign for supporters on October 2. This will be the first playable demo for those looking to jump into the game.

Everspace 2 is a 3D space shooter that works to blend deep space, combat-centric gameplay with a non-linear narrative and various roguelike elements. If you love zooming around the universe shooting and collecting things, it should be right up your alley.

Check out the game in the announcement trailer below, and then get hyped up for the demo that's about to descend upon us in October. It looks like it's going to be a good time for everyone involved.

Here's a little bit of background flavor for the game as provided over on the Everspace 2 Steam page:

If you're interested in giving the game a try, be sure to check out the Kickstarter campaign when it goes live so you can learn about the project or back it if you so choose.
