BostonFIG Fest is coming to Boston next week

Are you going to be in Boston next week? Love indie games? You'll want to head out to BostonFIG Fest, an indie gaming celebration that's taking place in just a few days.

This may be the festival's biggest year yet, as it moved from Cambridge, MA to Harvard's Athletic Complex in Boston's Allston neighborhood in Boston not long after that. Over 100 tabletop and video games will be shown off at the festival, which you supposedly won't be able to see anywhere else.

There's also "parlor LARP" for those who want to participate, as well as Boffer combat. It's a family-friendly and inclusive atmosphere, with kids under 12 getting in free. At the end of the day's celebration, Figgie Awards will be given away and emceed by Eric Molinsky, host of the Imaginary Worlds podcast and reporter for All Things Considered and more.

You can purchase a ticket for just $25, or $20 apiece if you buy 4 or more, and $30 at the door. All proceeds from the event will go back into the event, and to support programs to help the next group of indie creators working to supply the event with their games.

If you're interested in attending, the show is set to take place on September 14. Be sure to mark your calendars and let us know if you attend or see anything awesome.
