Gamescom 2019 is about to kick off, and that can only mean one thing: plenty of new game announcements and exciting developments – not least of which, of course, includes Nintendo's latest buffet of releases.

The latest Nintendo Indie World presentation (formerly Nindies) kicks off today, and you can catch the 20-minute video right here at Shacknews as we strive to bring you all the latest news out of the beginning of the fall slate of gaming announcements we're poised to receive.

This is the latest Nintendo Direct-styled presentation since March, when Nintendo hosted a Direct that focused on indie games during GDC 2019. During the event, games like Cadence of Hyrule and Cuphead made their debut for Nintendo Switch, so you may want to prepare yourself for an exciting mixture of new and old titles this time around.

You can catch the Nintendo Indie World Showcase on the official Nintendo Direct site live at 6 AM PT/9 AM ET. Alternatively, you can catch it right below via the official Nintendo Twitch channel. If you're more of a YouTube person, you can head on over to the official Nintendo YouTube channel, which will be broadcasting the latest showcase live as well, though an official link is not live at the time of writing.

As mentioned previously, Indie World's branding has apparently been shifted to Indie World to match the name Nintendo uses in Japan for its typical Nindies Showcase. Here's last May's Indie World video from the Japanese broadcast, if you're curious. Note the fun imagery, which will hopefully be reflected this time around for Western viewers!

Buckle up and get ready to dive into a ton of sumptuous indie surprises as Shacknews brings you all the news that's fit to cover out of Nintendo's latest stream. Keep it locked on Shacknews for all the juicest news and updates.
