The main event in the International Dota 2 Championships will take place from Tuesday, August 20 through Sunday, August 25, 2019 at the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Shanghai, China. This follows the group stage which will be held from Thursday, August 15 through Sunday, August 18.

As our readers are likely aware, the TI9 championship is the chance for the world's best Dota 2 players and teams to go head-to-head in one of the most competitive games in the esports arena.

The bouts will be broken into several time frames, with four best-of-two matches being held every two-and-a-half hours. Fans who want to stay on top of the current matchups and previous winners can find all the information they need through the schedule featured on the Dota 2 website.

The International 2019 Dota 2 Championships | Streams and where to watch

As usual, this year's Dota 2 Championships will be streamed live through the Dota 2 International Twitch account. For convenience, we've embedded the stream below, in the chance that you've found your way here after TI9 kicks off.

Twitch isn't the only option for viewers tuning in at home, though: Players will also be able to watch the International in-game through the Dota 2 client.
