Weekend PC Download Deals for Aug 8: No Man's Sky goes Beyond

If you avoided No Man's Sky's rough launch, it might be time to jump back in for the game's latest update. And it's never been easier, thanks to this weekend's big sale.

It's taken a while for No Man's Sky to get off the ground. It had one of the roughest launches in recent memory. But now Hello Games has turned it into something worth playing. And if you're one of the many who avoided its rocky launch, now might be the time to jump back in. To help entice you, there's a sale going on right now. No Man's Sky is on sale across a number of retails, so pick your favorite one between Steam, the Humble Store, and GOG.com.

Elsewhere, Steam is also discounting the Assassin's Creed franchise, while also offering a nice discount on the Pillars of Eternity series. Green Man Gaming is offering up Octopath Traveler, the Humble Store has the best of the indies, and you're running out of time to grab Destiny 2 at a discount from Blizzard before it heads off to Steam.
