Fighting game fans, it's time for the return of the Evolution Championship Series. EVO 2019 is right around the corner, set to kick off this weekend out in Las Vegas. As usual, the EVO 2019 Championship Series will see top esports athletes and competitors duke it out for the right to be called the very best and earn that sweet prize pool money. EVO 2019 Championship Series schedule, dates, times, and games
EVO 2019 is slated to run from Friday, August 2 to Sunday, August 4. Events kick off every day at 10 a.m. Pacific, which is noon Central or 1 p.m. Eastern time.
Each of this year's tournaments will be held at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. In attendance will be the top players across several fighting different fighting game series, including Street Fighter 5, Tekken 7, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and more.
In addition, this year's events will play host to a huge number of different commentators, including fan-favorite personalities from all walks of the esports spectrum. For the full list, check the image featured above.
EVO 2019 Championship Series tickets and registration
Like previous events, the EVO 2019 Championship Series is open and free for anyone to attend. The only real need to register or buy tickets is for competitors or for spectators who wish to score a VIP pass in order to earn a custom t-shirt and customized event badge, or for those who want to take place in the Sunday finals.
To register or purchase tickets for Sunday finals, simply head over to the official EVO registration web page. The EVO 2019 organizers also recommend attendees book a hotel straight through the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino, and can do so through a link provided on the page.
Where to watch EVO 2019 streams
This year's EVO 2019 Championship Series events will be taking place in Las Vegas, but viewers can watch all the action at home through Twitch. With that said, there are no less than eight different EVO channels for players to tune into, with many of them focused on specific fighting games.
