Remedy Entertainment's trippy Control is barreling toward a release soon, and that means there's a new story trailer out for you to hungrily pore over while waiting for the game to debut.
Control follows a woman named Jesse Fadens, who's slipped into the role of Director of a decidedly shadowy organization. She's on the search for answers, but on her way through the Bureau as the world twists and turns around her. It looks like a super bizarre time, peppered with exciting shootouts and action-packed segments, and we frankly can't wait to see what it's all about.
Unfortunately, right now we'll all have to live vicariously through this trailer. It's well worth a look though, especially if you haven't seen much of it since we first got a look at the game with its debut trailer. In that case, you're in for a rare treat.
Our own Ozzie Mejia previewed Control ahead of E3 2019, and came away quite pleased. Here's what he thought of the game:
"There's a deeper mystery at play in Control, mainly revolving around how the Hiss infiltrated the FBC in the first place. Remedy is hinting at a story that's on par with its previous efforts, like Alan Wake and Quantum Break. Whether that story can deliver remains to be seen, but Remedy and publisher 505 Games seem to be off to a good start so far."
You can look forward to playing Control when it drops on August 27 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on August 27.
