QuakeCon 2019 kicks off tomorrow at the Gaylord Texan in Grapevine, Texas and Shacknews is coming back for The Great Quakeholio Tournament 2. The electronic sports tournament will feature a $10,000 prize pool. Players will face a gauntlet of id Software games with Shacknews immortality awaiting one special contestant at the end. If you are attending QuakeCon 2019, and think you have what it takes to do it for Shacknews, head to The Great Quakeholio Tournament 2 on Saturday at 6 PM CT for a shot at the first place prize of $6,000.
We will be on the third floor of the Lone Star Tower in the Mustang 2, 4, and 6 Ballrooms of the Gaylord Texan. Our gauntlet-style tournament will feature id Software classics including Doom, Doom 2016, Quake, Quake Champions, Quake Live, and some other surprises.
