Chloe Bennett and Jeff Ward pitch an Agents of Shields video game

San Diego Comic-Con is the place to be if you want to hear the latest news about Agents of Shield, which is why Shacknews was there, microphone in hand. We had the pleasure of speaking with Chloe Bennett and Jeff Ward about their involvement in Agents of Shield, a series that has now run for six seasons with a final seventh season scheduled for a 2020 release. Please check out the interview below!

One thing we like to do here at Shacknews is talk about games. It’s in our blood. It’s especially interesting to think what a TV show might look like in video game form, and we posed the question to Chloe and Jeff.

After a moment’s pause, Chloe suggested it could be similar to a driving game, something like Grand Theft Auto, where the player has the freedom to do whatever they want, whenever they want. It would certainly be incredible to play as a superhero in a GTA type of world. There are already mods out there that insert heroes into GTA, so it’s not too much of a stretch.

Jeff, on the other hand, suggested that Agents of Shield could be a Fallout type game. It sounds like a good fit: life as we know it is fundamentally changed, mutants running around, it’s the end of the world.

Outside of gaming talk, Chloe and Jeff also discussed how life has changed over the course of the show. Chloe’s been a part of the series for longer, so it’s had a greater impact on her life, but even Jeff has found that it’s affected him.

The seventh season of Agents of Shield is scheduled to release sometime in 2020. This will be the final season of the show, which has now run for six years.
