It may seem difficult to believe, since we've been waiting for some time, but Tiny Metal: Full Metal Rumble is finally here.

The turn-based strategy war game is now out on both Nintendo Switch and Steam, and yes – it's a sequel to the original Tiny Metal. This time around, it includes a special narrative penned by I am Setsuna's Hirotaka Inaba. It includes a larger, expanded open world map that'll have you working diligently to figure out what's behind the various secrets behind the core of the story, as well as tons of other content to sift through.

By tons, we mean there are over 39 campaign missions to complete, 77 skirmish maps, and 21 multiplayer maps to duke it out with friends on. Additionally, it includes four new difficulty options to make sure it can still kick your butt, no matter what difficulty you're playing on. If you're confused as to what type of game this is, the closest analogue is Advance Wars.

“We’ve longed to continue telling the story we began with TINY METAL in 2017. What happens to Commander Wolfram, Nathan Gries, and the rest of the cast will define the series and set the stage for adventures to come,” said Hiroaki Yura, producer, Area 35, Inc. “Full Metal Rumble will challenge players like never before while growing the universe, answering burning questions, and asking new ones—all for the turn-based strategy fans whose passion for the genre burns bright.”

If that all sounds good, you can snag the game for the perfect weekend play right now. Let us know how you're enjoying it if you decide to do so!
