Rockstar’s sprawling old west epic Red Dead Redemption 2 took the video game world by storm with its release last year. Players were drawn in by its lush open world, interesting characters, and moving soundtrack. Fans of the game will be happy to learn that a collection of original music from the game, entitled The Music Of Red Dead Redemption 2: Original Soundtrack, is now available to stream on all major digital platforms.

The soundtrack collection is a collaborative effort between Rockstar and label Lakeshore Records. Lakeshore is well known for its other soundtrack release for projects like Halt and Catch Fire, Moonlight, and Stranger Things. The Red Dead Redemption 2 soundtrack is produced by Daniel Lanois and includes music exclusively created for the game.

The Red Dead Redemption 2 soundtrack was originally made available on vinyl, but can now be streamed digitally.

  2. Moonlight - Daniel Lanois, Daryl Johnson, Joseph Maize, Darryl Hatcher & Rhiannon Giddens

Rockstar has plans to make the original score for the game available as well. The Music of Red Dead Redemption 2: Original Score, the companion to the original soundtrack, features music composed by Woody Jackson and is expected to be made available sometime later this summer.
