Specifically, the sale kicks off at 2:59 a.m. ET on Monday and will continue for a full 48 hours, ending at the same time on Wednesday morning. Otherwise, the sale is effectively running on Monday and Tuesday.

When is Amazon Prime Day 2019

While many people reading this are likely already Amazon Prime subscribers, there are still those who aren't keen on the online retail giant's subscription service. No matter; buyers can still sign up for a free 30-day trial of Prime in order to take part in Amazon Prime Day 2019 — and that trial period extends to six months for college attendants eligible for an Amazon Prime Student membership.

The free membership must be canceled before the trial period is over to avoid a charge, but other than that, it can be used to enjoy Prime two-day shipping in addition to all of the sales featured during Prime Day 2019.


Amazon Prime Day 2019 kicks off in the early morning hours of Monday, June 15, and will run for 48 hours total.
