Marvel's Avengers was just formally revealed and fans are already wondering who voices their favorite characters featured in the new game. Monday's Square Enix Live E3 2019 presentation concluded with the long-awaited reveal of Marvel's Avengers, the collaboration between Square Enix, Crystal Dynamics, Eidos Montreal, and Marvel Games. A full Avengers roster was revealed to the live audience in attendance and watching at home, and Square Enix gave a special inside look at the talented crew comprising Marvel's Avengers voice actors.

Voice actors and cast in Marvel's Avengers

By now, fans will have noticed that the voice actors and cast in Marvel's Avengers aren't the same as the actors featured in Marvel's Hollywood releases. However, Square Enix has still tapped on some of the hottest voice talents in the industry for the Avengers game, including Troy Baker, Travis Willingham, and Nolan North.

Tony Stark / Iron Man - Nolan North

Tony Stark / Iron Man is voiced by Nolan North

The Armored Avenger is being voiced by Nolan North. He is known to the gaming world as Uncharted's Nathan Drake, but his voice credits are in the hundreds, having starred in a multitude of games from Destiny 2 (Cayde-6), Halo Wars (Sergeant Forge), and the Assassin's Creed series (Desmond Miles) just to name a few. North is no stranger to the Marvel Universe, either. He is heavily recognized as the voice of Deadpool across several games, including the Deadpool game from Activision, and has more recently picked up the mantle of Rocket Raccoon in games like Telltale's Guardians of the Galaxy, LEGO Marvel Super Heroes, and the upcoming Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3.

Bruce Banner / Hulk - Troy Baker

The Strongest There Is is being voiced by another veteran video game voice actor, Troy Baker. Baker's voice acting resume is about as extensive as North's, having worked on games like BioShock Infinite (Booker DeWitt), Tales from the Borderlands (Rhys), and The Last of Us (Joel). Baker's Marvel voice acting history in gaming isn't particularly extensive, though some will recognize him as Nova from Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3. However, he does have a lot of experience voicing another Avenger in the Marvel animated shows, currently working as the voice of Clint "Hawkeye" Barton.

Thor - Travis Willingham

Thor is voiced by Travis Willingham

The Norse god of Thunder's voice actor is the most experienced of the bunch in his current role. Willingham is the current go-to actor for Thor in the various Marvel animated series, having recently voiced the character in the Disney XD Avengers Assemble and Guardians of the Galaxy shows. Willingham's video game resume extends to the Sonic the Hedgehog series, where he voices Knuckles. However, he's also done a few Marvel video games, most recently voicing Wilson Fisk (a.k.a. The Kingpin) in 2018's Marvel's Spider-Man on PlayStation 4.

Steve Rogers / Captain America - Jeff Schine

The Star-Spangled Avenger's voice may be the least recognized among this all-star cast. He doesn't have quite the star-studded resume, the way his colleagues do. However, those who followed Telltale's The Walking Dead will recognize him as Javier from The Walking Dead: A New Frontier.

Natasha Romanov / Black Widow - Laura Bailey

Like Baker and North, Laura Bailey is a voice acting veteran, picking up the role of Black Widow. Like Willingham, she is quite familiar with her role. She's voiced the character numerous times in the past, including in Disney's animated shows (Avengers Assemble, Marvel's Spider-Man, Guardians of the Galaxy) and in several Marvel games, such as Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite. She's also worked in another Marvel game, having voiced Mary Jane Watson in 2018's Marvel's Spider-Man on PlayStation 4.

The latest release from Square Enix looks absolutely fantastic, and judging by the voice actors in Marvel's Avengers, the game will sound and feel just as good.
